Hello to people from Farmington, Stamford, St. Paul and Cromwell High School and the University of CT. You may have known me as:

Joyce (Joy) Hardy or
most recently, Joyce (Joy) Holsing, married 6/14/08. My picture shows my sons (Kevin and Bryce Hardy)escorting me at my wedding.
I grew up in Farmington, moving to Stamford in 10th grade and graduating from Stamford High in 1962.
Graduated from UConn, Class of 1967 - degree in Physical Education, Health and Recreation.

Taught at St Paul from 1967-1992 - PE, Health and a few years as Guidance Counselor (1989-92)
Was a School Counselor at Cromwell HS from 1992-2006 when I retired.
Met my husband, Jim Holsing in 2003, moved to Longmeadow, MA in 2004, retired in 2006 and was married in 2008.
I have two sons, Kevin Hardy (born 1975) and Bryce Hardy (born 1980).
I am currently the site director for an inner-city tutoring program in Springfield (ACTS). It is very rewarding.
